Our Refund Policy

Firstly, we would like to extend a warm thanks to all of you that maintained your membership with us in 2020.

Many of you may have seen the recent refund policy released by Football Victoria. We are extremely disappointed that FV are still imposing significant fees for a season that did not go ahead and will contest them at a committee level. Regardless of the outcome, we will not to pass any of these costs onto our members.

Fortunately, Bayside Football Association have waived all fees for the 2020 season and the council are likely to defer our lease agreements. We should receive relief in the form of a grant for some of the costs we incurred in the pre-season.

With this in mind, we would like to provide some clarity to all our members regarding our refund policy for the 2020 season.

We have already provided a credit for all fully paid 2020 player memberships. The credit is in the form of a coupon that can be used on our website. We will re-issue the coupon codes closer to the beginning of next season when we expect them to be redeemed.

It all gets a bit messy when we factor in the abbreviated $150 junior season that almost was. These payments will be automatically returned to your original credit less any merchandise or social memberships. We understand it is not a perfect system, but please be assured that we are keeping good records and your payments will be honoured for season 2021.

We are also in a position to offer complete refunds for those that are in need. We have processed a number so far, but we are happy to support our members in any way we can. Email Con on treasurer@sesc.com.au with your details, and please check your junk mail for our reply.
